At the Bike GPS tour portal, you can, for a small fee, order and download the GPS data for the 638 tour stages documented in the "Traumtouren" ("Dream Tour") book (available in German only) and covering the various Alpine regions.

How do you pay?

Payment by credit card

• You can use a Visa card or Mastercard to pay for bike tours online. Your GPS data is available as soon as you have placed and paid for your order. That is a good idea if you spontaneously decide to use the good weather in summer, for example, to go off on a Bike GPS tour the next day.
• You can make payments of up to EUR 50 by credit card at the Bike GPS tour portal.
• Credit card data is entered on an SSL-encrypted server made available by our payment service provider, iPayment.
• Simply type in the name of the card holder, your e-mail address, your card number, the CVC number and the expiry date.
• As soon as your data has been validated and payment effected, you are forwarded to the tour download page.
• We will also e-mail you confirmation of the payment transaction.

Cash in advance

• Cash in advance is the lowest-cost way to buy bike tours. If you choose this means of payment, however, you will have to wait several days for your tour data.
• Once you have placed your order, an order confirmation notice will be displayed in your browser. We will also send you the same notice by e-mail. The order confirmation states the exact amount to be paid and quotes our bank details.
• As soon as your payment has gone into our account, your route data is released for download. We will also send you an e-mail informing you that you can now download your data.
• If you are transferring payment from a foreign (i.e. non-German) bank account, please use the international bank data, the IBAN number and the SWIFT code. Only then can you be sure that, in accordance with the recent EU directive, the transfer will not cost more than a domestic money transfer would. This information also ensures that our bank cannot debit charges.

What happens after you have paid by credit card or cash in advance?

Once the payment transaction is completed, you can use the Bike GPS access data you defined with your first payment transaction (your e-mail address or customer number and your personal password) to access our tour portal at any time:

• On the www.bike-gps.com home page, click "Bike GPS tours that you have ordered and paid for".
• When you log in, you will see a list of the data you have ordered to date, complete with details of the status of each order.
• Tours that you have ordered initially have the status "not yet paid for" (yellow).
• Once we have received your payment (immediately if you pay by credit card or after several days if you choose the cash in advance option), your data is set to the status "paid for" (green) and is released for download .
• Simply click once to download the data to your PC.
• To guard against abuse, ordered tour data is locked automatically two weeks after release. After that, you will no longer be able to download it. The status is then set to "expired" (red).
• If problems with payment transaction cause you inadvertently book a given tour or tour stage more than once, the item concerned will be listed more than once on the download page. But don't worry. We automatically delete orders that have not been paid for at regular intervals.
